Three books, three sentences, II

1. Wasted by Marya Hornbacher is an intense, sometimes horrifying memoir of eating disorders. There is no romance here, no Ophelia's beautiful madness. She calls eating disorders what they are - slow suicide.

2. Paris: An Inspiring Tour of the City's Creative Heart by Janelle McCulloch - I am a sucker for a beautiful coffee-table book, and this one is right up there. Her photographs are beautiful. The writing is just slightly elevated guidebook, though.

3. The Weeknight Dinner Cookbook by Mary Younkin - I can put a cookbook on here if I want to. Got this for inspiration, and it delivers. Looking forward to making the chicken and mushroom dish.
